Tips for packing your kid’s lunch:

  1. Recruit their help- Kids are much more likely to eat what they picked out.
  2. Pack it pretty- A cute container with food compartments allows kids to look and pick at everything all at once. (Plus, they’re reusable, which will help you save money over the long haul!)
            – Yum Lunch Box  $28- they come in really fun colors
            – Bentology  $19- also really fun colors that you  can mix and match and a bit cheaper.
            – Rubbermaid Lunchblox  $15- containers you can mix and match; they also have a salad container that is great for salad lovers!
  3. Add variety- No one likes eating the same thing everyday, so be sure to switch it up often. Utilize leftovers when possible and when in doubt, search the internet for new ideas.
  4. Don’t skimp on dessert- A small treat is the perfect way to get your kid excited about packing their lunch.
  5. Packing lunches doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming. Keep it simple!
